Looking for a provider to prescribe your compounded MCAS prescriptions?

MCAS Program

Previously available only to LDN Direct patients, this service is now open to anyone wishing to utilize H1 and H2 antagonists such as Ketotifen, Hydroxyzine, Amlexanox, and Cromolyn to help mitigate their MCAS symptoms. This service also includes Low Dose Naltrexone and compounded antihistamines as additional therapies.

What the Program Offers

  • The MCAS Medication Program at LDN Direct is designed to help patients access hard-to-obtain prescriptions for MCAS. Over the course of 6 months, you’ll have three consultations with Jade Arellano and one consultation with Dr. Zalzala, ensuring a comprehensive, personalized approach to your care.

During these appointments, your practitioner will:

    • Discuss your specific situation and explore medications that may benefit your symptoms.

    • Provide detailed explanations of how the medications may address MCAS-related symptoms.

    • Develop a personalized titration schedule to help you identify the optimal dosage.

    • Identify any potential contraindications or interactions with your current medications.

    • Offer follow-up support through email to address questions or concerns between appointments.

This collaborative program ensures that you receive expert guidance in navigating treatment options that may otherwise be difficult to access.

  • A prescription for Cromolyn, Ketotifen, Hdroxyzine, LDN, Amlexanox, and compounded OTC antihistamines sent to the pharmacy of your choice- we recommend CareFirst. All prescriptions must be sent to the same compounding pharmacy.

  • Once on a stable dose of your chosen medication(s), you simply renew online every 6 months.
